Knights, as most of us know, are usually considered the "tanks".
Well, I'm here to explan what that actually means while including some of the additions that come along with being a knight.
First of all, knight noah Get a % Bonus of HP after the job change which applies to all levels, meaning, the bonus effects are drawn from the FINAL estimated amount of HP.
If you are still having trouble about it, think about it this way,
Consider every other class (except BP's) as 100% on terms of HP,
Now, instead of knights getting the normal 100% amount, we'd have a bonus 17.97% (CONFIRMED), So, First would be knight noah with 117.97% HP , Second would be BP's with an estimated 109%, and the remaining classes would be 100%
(Mages have a bit lower than others).
Example:
*These explanations disregard gear, meaning the character is naked*
A 120 Knight with 200 STA has 20230 HP
A 120 BP with 200 STA has 18414
And any other 120 class with 200 STA would have 16600 HP
*120 Psys/Elems with 200 STA have 15692*
I hope that helped you guys with the HP factor of the equation;
Now for the little knight bonuses that come along with the class:
As we all know, knight noah use 2-H weapons, but theres also a bonus effect that knights get with the USE of these 2-H weapons, which is called Swordcross.
Do not be fooled by the name, Swordcross works for both 2h Axes and 2h Swords (ONLY 2H WEAPONS) and has the same effect.
Swordcross works EXACTLY like Holycross, except for the fact that it is activated automatically at random intervals. Those of you who do not know what Holycross/Swordcross is:
Holycross: Rm skill that increases the damage done to the target x2
Swordcross: Knight attribute, considered somewhat of a skill, that is casted randomly in intervals that increases the damage done to whatever is damaged x2
